CLAT 2024 Syllabus and Format: Changes Announced
The Consortium of National Law Universities has recently released an official notification outlining the syllabus and format for the upcoming Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) in 2024.
Here are the details regarding the syllabus and pattern for CLAT 2024:
1. The Undergraduate (“UG”) CLAT 2024, which is conducted for admissions to the Undergraduate courses starting in the Academic Year 2024-2025 at participating National Law Universities, will consist of 120 questions. This marks a reduction from the previous years’ 150-question format. The test duration remains the same, allowing candidates 2 hours to complete it.
2. The 120 questions will be categorized into five sections: English Language, Current Affairs Including General Knowledge, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Techniques.
3. There will be no changes in the syllabus or the number of questions for the Postgraduate CLAT 2024.
